February 12th 2023: Over the last few months there has been numerous stories about street racing and street takeovers across Southern California. The illegal events are dangerous and have sometimes turned deadly so police agencies try to shut them down whenever they can.
Thursday night the Orange Police Department arrived at the intersection of Jamboree and Santiago Canyon to find approximately 100 vehicles gathered together to race. The Orange Police issued 42 citations at the gathering.
