July 24th 2022: The popular OC Fair is now open Wednesday through Sundays with the fair running through August 14th. The fair features all the usual stuff carnival rides, carnival food, animals, exhibitions and contests, motor sports, shopping as well as live entertainment on its many stages.
If you want to attend this years show you must purchase your ticket online prior to arriving and i would suggest you purchase them as soon as possible as last years event sold out 17 of its 23 days. If you have tickets to performances in either the Action Sports Area, The Hanger or in the Pacific Amphitheatre you also get same day admission to the OC Fair.
Tips:
The parking onsite fills up quickly but they is also parking available at Orange Coast College across the street. If you are attending a show at the Pacific Amphitheatre for example if possible i would arrive early as you get free entrance to the fair on the day of the show; Also by doing this you will avoid the traffic crunch as people arrive right before the shows start. OC Bus also provides shuttle buses across various parts of Orange County to the OC Fair or there is always ride sharing such as Uber or Lyft.
OC Fair Hours:
11 am to 11 pm Wednesday & Thursday and 11 am to midnight on Fridays through Sundays
Admission:
Pricing hasn’t changed from the 2021 fair with tickets for Adults $12 on Wednesday or Thursday or $14 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Kids aged 6 to 12 as well as Seniors (60 Plus) can get in any day for $7. Children ages 5 and younger are free.
Parking is the usual $10 for OC Event Center events but one nice thing is the fair tickets do not have any of those pesky transaction fees.
