October 25th 2022: The former Stater Bros supermarket at Fairview & Westminster was the nearest supermarket to where i live so when it closed it was a big loss for me and, the neighborhood that doesn’t have a huge amount of supermarket options.
Right now the former Stater Bros location is being remade as a larger format Northgate Market which also includes the make over of the shopping center which is going on right now. Once the new Northgate Market opens two smaller locations on 4th and 17th street will close with the employees having the option to move to the new store or other locations.
The new larger location in Santa Ana is the first of two with a second location in Costa Mesa due to open hopefully early to mid December at Harbor & Wilson.
