January 16th 2023: Returning Disney CEO Bob Iger is rolling back some of the price changes at Disneyland that seem to annoy visitors the most. One change is the ride photos will no longer be charged for although if you want them printed out that will still cost.
The lowest price tickets at Disneyland $104 a day will now be available for two months a year, the price of a ticket on the highest demand days is $179 for adults. Also the daily parking fees have been removed when you stay at a Disneyland Resort hotel the fees were started in 2018 and charge between $15 and $25 a night per vehicle.
The parking fees especially annoyed visitors to Disneyland where a nightly stay in one of the three hotels often would be more than $600 a night; After paying that much for a room the nightly parking fee really annoyed visitors as it seemed like a money grab.

Because of the huge pent up demand for Disneyland and California Adventure with full theme parks you could argue from a business perspective that Disney didn’t need to make these changes; But peoples view of the theme parks has changed in recent years with the changes with many annoyed about the things such as smaller portions of food, higher prices for everything and add on charges.
To pay for the money being spend on streaming and debt from the purchase of most of FOX it seamed to many that Disney i cutting corners at the theme parks and squeezing every last dollar from its visitors. Disney used to be the tiffany standard for theme parks theming and operation but in many ways Universal has caught them and in some ways overtaken them. Hopefully as the financial position improves for Disney they can put some money back in the theme parks and improve the value for guests.
