February 24th 2023: Tomorrow the Electric City Butcher Shop at the 4th Street Market in downtown Santa Ana is closing for good. You will still be able to buy their products through online retailers but no longer be able to buy them from the Santa Ana storefront.
A location called Graze and Gather Meats in the city of Claremont is still going to remain open. The butcher shop closing will be a loss to Santa Ana which became known for the quality of its meats as well as hosting more than 100 butcher classes. The butcher shop also had earned a spot on Food & Wine Magazines list of the 100 Best Butcher Shops in America.
