January 14th 2024: Liberated Brands a Costa Mesa based apparel company has announced the closing of its headquarters and the laying off of 363 employees. The corporate offices shutting down in Costa Mesa are at 555 Anton Blvd and 1740 Monrovia Ave.
Liberated Brands recently lost licensing agreements with New York based Authentic Brands to design, distribute and sell big surf and skate brands Billabong, Volcom as well as RVCA and Spyder.
Many of the employees are already applying directly with these brands.
